Our independent, permanently Neutral state of Turkmenistan has become a true center of peace, stable development, and mutually beneficial cooperation in the region and across the globe. In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, under the leadership of our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, our country's foreign policy strategy is being enriched with new content and essence, gaining high standing in the international arena. The policy pursued by our Head of State is fundamentally based on the legal status of permanent Neutrality, peacefulness, good-neighborliness, and the principles of mutual respect. This wise leadership continuously elevates our country’s global prestige, aimed at ensuring stability and restoring genuine trust between nations.

Mutual Support in Central Asia: Joint Steps Against Emergency Situations

On June 16–19, 2026, a training workshop was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, with the objective of "Strengthening Regional Preparedness, Coordination, and Emergency Response Capacity." This training was attended by the Head of the Disaster Management Department of the Ahal, Mary, Dashoguz Velayat Branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, representatives of the Central Asian Red Crescent Societies, the IFRC Country Cluster Delegation for Central Asia, the regional office, partner National Societies, and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

It is worth noting that during this training, participants exchanged views, discussed questions, and put forward proposals regarding key issues in Central Asia. Specifically, they addressed necessary actions, community resilience, and mutual cooperation in the event of numerous natural hazards, such as earthquakes, river floods and inundations, landslides and mudflows, extreme heatwaves, and droughts.

The noble tasks set before our society by our esteemed President pave the way toward new horizons for us. These high responsibilities and lofty goals inspire and empower us—the youth—to follow the humanitarian principles of our country and to work with even greater enthusiasm and relentless diligence in the future!
