As part of the ongoing Road Safety Month, specialists and volunteers from the Balkan Velayat branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan (NRCST) organized a series of educational and informational events.

Preventive awareness sessions were held at general education schools, secondary vocational institutions, and other organizations across the region. The primary goal of these initiatives was to raise public awareness—particularly among the younger generation, of road safety rules and the prevention of traffic accidents.

During these meetings, key traffic regulations for pedestrians and passengers were explained to young people and staff members in an accessible, interactive manner. Society volunteers conducted practical sessions on providing first aid for injuries and distributed informational leaflets and brochures to participants.

Events of this kind underscore the importance of collaborative efforts to protect the lives and health of citizens, promote a culture of safe road behavior, and cultivate a sense of responsibility regarding safety among all road users.
