In fulfilling our organization's mission, we and the volunteers, regularly promote the sacred sites of the Fatherland and encourage healthy lifestyles among the population. We conduct practical seminars, educational, and consultative events among our peers in comprehensive schools. To ensure positive results from our work on the ground, it is essential that the volunteers themselves increase and refine their awareness of the National Society's multifaceted activities. Today, October 13, 2025, the Lebap Velayat Branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan hosted a methodological session led by the National Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Turkmenistan. As part of the project "Local and National Capacity for Emergency Preparedness and Response in Central Asian Countries with a High Risk of Earthquakes and Natural Disasters," the training focused on enhancing our young volunteers' emergency preparedness, taking into account the needs of children, gender, and social conditions, as well as proper first aid skills for disaster victims. During the training, which was attended by 20 volunteers, practical experiences were shared, effective presentations were heard, and relevant videos were viewed. Furthermore, the volunteers were encouraged to put into practice the important issues raised and explored during the event. We, the volunteers, will make every effort to ensure a peaceful life for our youth, peers, and the Turkmen people in our prosperous country. We also meet with the volunteers and express our deep gratitude to the national representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Turkmenistan for such an effective training.
