As we rebuild a new era of a powerful state, our country is experiencing steady progress. Under the leadership of our esteemed President, extensive work is underway to ensure a peaceful and prosperous life for all segments of society. One such effort is the extensive road safety measures.

Every September, our country hosts a joint monthly event, "Road Safety – Comfort in Our Lives." As part of this event, specialists and volunteers from the  NRCST organize educational and consultative events, training sessions, meetings, and consultations in all regions of the country. These events provide a comprehensive explanation of traffic regulations and the responsibilities of pedestrians and drivers. Ensuring the safety of the younger generation and their proper education in traffic regulations are also key goals of these events.

At the initiative of our esteemed Hero Arkadagly Serdar, a network of modern highways stretching thousands of kilometers is being created in our country. This ensures a safe, comfortable, and modern life for our people. Strict adherence to traffic rules is the responsibility not only of the relevant agencies but also of every citizen. As the number of vehicles in the country grows, the importance of properly following traffic rules increases. Therefore, the government continues to implement comprehensive measures. Such public awareness and educational work plays a crucial role in preventing road accidents and ensuring public health and comfort.

The National Red Crescent Society also actively participates in large-scale events in this area. We are constantly working to improve road safety, foster a healthy lifestyle, and ensure public safety.

Road safety is more than just a set of rules; it's also the key to a comfortable life and a happy future for our generations.

THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES

– Humanity

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, born of a desire to bring assistance
without discrimination to the wounded on the battlefield, endeavours, in its international and
national capacity, to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose
is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being. It promotes mutual
understanding, friendship, cooperation and lasting peace amongst all peoples.

– Impartiality

It makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions. It
endeavors to relieve the suffering of individuals, being guided solely by their needs, and to give
priority to the most urgent cases of distress.

– Neutrality

In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Movement may not take sides in hostilities or
engage at any time in controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature.

– Independence

The Movement is independent. The National Societies, while auxiliaries in the humanitarian services
of their governments and subject to the laws of their respective countries, must always maintain
their autonomy so that they may be able at all times to act in accordance with the principles of the
Movement.

– Voluntary service

It is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner by desire for gain.

– Unity

There can be only one Red Cross or one Red Crescent Society in any one country. It must be open
to all. It must carry on its humanitarian work throughout its territory.

– Universality

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, in which all Societies have equal status
and share equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other, is worldwide.
