October 1^st – International Day of Older Persons. This day is a wonderful opportunity to express our respect and gratitude to those who built our present – to our parents, dear veterans of labor, and all elderly citizens. To make this holiday truly heartfelt, the staff of the Balkan regional branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan organized a gift-giving campaign. Our goal was to visit the elderly residents of our city, personally congratulate them, and share warmth and care. May our respect and kindness toward our elders live in our hearts not only on October 1st, but every single day!
