On May 8, 2025, an event on the topic “International Humanitarian Law – Protection of Peace” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was dedicated to the International Day of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and the birthday of its founder, Henry Dunant. The event was attended by undergraduate and graduate students studying at the Institute.The aim of the event was to broaden students' understanding of international humanitarian law, provide information on the importance of international efforts in this area, and promote peace and humanitarian diplomacy. During the event, interesting quizzes and games were organized for students and postgraduates. This further increased the interest of the participants. Such events provide an opportunity to deepen young people's understanding of the international legal system and introduce them to practical diplomatic rules. The event continued with interesting discussions among the participants, and the youth's activity in this area was highly appreciated.
