On May 8, the entire world celebrates the Day of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement - one of the most respected and humanitarian dates in the global calendar. In honor of this event, a round table was held in the Dashoguz velayat branch of the NRCST with the participation of representatives of government agencies, public organizations and educational institutions. The aim of the event is to strengthen cooperation and partnership in the field of humanitarian activities, popularize the values of the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, discuss current challenges and find joint solutions in a changing world. The meeting covered key topics: development of volunteerism, assistance to vulnerable groups, actions in emergency situations and natural disasters, and promotion of international humanitarian law. The event became yet another confirmation that the principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and voluntariness laid down by the founders of the movement remain relevant and vital in the modern world.
