Sports competitions dedicated to the International Day of the Disabled were held on December 3 at the Dashoguz Sports Club. Specialists and volunteers of the Dashoguz Velayat NRCST organized them for people with disabilities.
It is well known that sport plays an important role in everyone's life, especially for people with disabilities. It is an effective way to promote health, as well as for physical and mental rehabilitation. In addition, sports activities include participation in public life and the comprehensive development of people with disabilities.
The sports festival in honor of the international date ended with the presentation of incentive gifts to the participants of the competition and a festive banquet. During the event, representatives of the Turkmen Societies of the Blind and Deaf performed a musical program.
