In order to increase public awareness of the impact of gender perception on human health and the prevention of tuberculosis, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan adopted a work plan for “Prevention of infectious diseases and ensuring gender equality.”The event, according to the adopted plan, was organized jointly with the Central Council of the Women's Union, with the support of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan in Turkmenabad, with the Lebap Regional Tuberculosis Hospital, and about 100 factory workers took part in the training held in the conference hall of the chemical plant named after S.A. Niyazov of the city of Turkmenabad. At the end of the training, special booklets on the prevention of the spread of diseases, prepared by employees of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan of Lebap velayat, were distributed to the participants of the training.
