Emergency Preparedness: Professional Mastery and Humanitarian Lessons

Dedicated to the glorious 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence, a large-scale and highly engaging practical training session on emergency preparedness has begun with high spirits and is successfully continuing at the modern “Daýanç” health resort located in the picturesque corner of the “Awaza” National Tourist Zone. Bringing together representatives, experts, and talented volunteers from the country’s Central Office, the city of Arkadag, as well as Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary velayats, this important event demonstrates a noble example of humanitarianism and unity. Over the past three days of this unique training, participants have been exchanging experience on taking immediate and correct actions in the event of earthquakes and other sudden disasters, rapidly drawing up innovative maps of temporary settlements, and providing first aid and medical assistance to refugees and disaster victims. Currently, the engaging practical sessions, impactful open discussions, and special safety assessments of infrastructure and living conditions conducted by experts not only enhance professional skills but also elevate preparedness for saving human lives to new heights. These practical training sessions are of great importance for assessing situations in velayats, summarizing data to prepare reports, and further strengthening cooperation with local authorities and the public.
