On March 4, an Emergency preparedness event was held at the Turkmenabat Nursing school. Nursing school students participated in the event with the active joint involvement of employees of Ministry of Emergency Situations in Turkmenabat city and Lebap welayat branch of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan.

During the event, the students learned how to respond to the emergencies, specifically earthquakes, floods, and strong hurricane winds and a discussion how to be ready to provide first aid during different emergencies. Earthquakes that cannot be predicted, so the most important thing during earthquake is remain to keep calm and clearly know the steps of actions. At the end of event, student acquire knowledge that tomorrow may save their own lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Preserving the achievements of our sovereign state and passing them to to future generations in all their value is the sacred duty of each of us.
