In Turkmenistan, in a country with the status of permanent neutrality, the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan makes a significant contribution to the implementation of the National Programs approved by the esteemed President, as well as to activities aimed at protecting the health of the population, providing social support, in educating the young generation on the noble traditions of our ancestors.
    With the organization of the Lebap department of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, a two-day seminar was held on the topics: “What is an acute respiratory disease? Disease Prevention”. The seminar was actively attended by employees, volunteers, and partners of the NRCST. Issues such as the prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases, including acute respiratory diseases, activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people were discussed. During the viewing of short videos on acute respiratory diseases and adherence to the rules of personal hygiene, work in groups with the participation of volunteers, performing pre and post tests, the participants of the seminar improved their knowledge.
