On June 26, 2026, a training session was held for the staff and volunteers of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan (NRCST), as well as for personnel from the Ahal Velayat, as part of the project "Strengthening the National Society's Capacity in Emergency Preparedness and Humanitarian Response," implemented with the support of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The session was conducted by Ms. Hanifa Karimi, UNHCR Protection Specialist. A total of 25 participants attended the event. During the training, Ms. Hanifa Karimi presented an overview of UNHCR's activities and highlighted key topics, including the Code of Conduct, prevention of fraud and corruption, as well as personal data protection and confidentiality. The training was conducted in an engaging format, incorporating question-and-answer elements.
