Every year in September, Road Safety Month is celebrated. In the year of “International Peace and Trust”, thanks to the wise policy of our esteemed President, our country  cares about protecting people’s health at the state level. “The traffic rules” are the same for all citizens of Turkmenistan.

Together with volunteers of the Turkmenbashi etrap branch of the Balkan velayat of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, various events were held among children of secondary schools No. 1-2-3-4-6-18 and kindergartens No. 1-2-3-6-13 of the Turkmenbashi etrap, under the name “Yellow, red, green traffic lights - welcome to our roads”.

During the event, the speakers emphasized that road users must know and comply with the requirements of the rules, road signs and pointers. Road signs play a huge role in everyday life and are very important for regulating traffic, ensuring the safety of vehicles and pedestrians, and maintaining order on the road. It was noted that full and correct compliance with traffic rules is one of the main conditions for preventing road accidents on the streets.
