The National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan annually holds various events among various strata of the society on road safety.

Together with the military traffic police was organized  an information campaign in the military artillery unit of the city of Balkanabat. The event was attended by military term activing duty. The topics were received road safety, first aid in road accidents, rules of conduct in emergency situations, personal hygiene and sanitation, and international humanitarian law. At the end of the event, informational materials were distributed: posters and booklets on the aforesaid topics.
